The Detroit Regional Workforce Fund is contributing to the overall economic revitalization of Southeast Michigan by preparing low-income, low-skilled workers for sustainable careers.

This effort is a groundbreaking exercise in philanthropy, unique because of its scope. As part of the National Fund for Workforce Solutions, the Detroit Regional Workforce Fund is connected to nearly 200 funders who have joined with government agencies and community-based organizations, working with more than 500 employers. This powerful group is committed to focusing financial resources and intellectual capital on one of our nation’s most pressing challenges: creating jobs and careers in a post-recession economy.
